So I took apart the sr11 FD and it was surprisingly easy, all I used was a small flat head screwdriver to pop off the little circlips (recommend holding it all in a paper towel so you don’t lose the tiny little clips). Then you just push the pins out (pictured) and the cage can just come away.
From there the whole mechanism is really easy to clean. I haven’t put it back together yet as I’m waiting for a replacement cage from a donor mech but I don’t expect that will be any more difficult.
