Thanks mate, the frame looks ever more purple in real life than I've ever managed to capture in pics. It sounds more like something you'd put in a bong, but the tape is 'Fizik Tempo Microtex Bondcush Soft Bar Tape'.

Is the bartape a bit velvet-y? I’ve got the pleather style version and love it but not sure I’d want to have suede effect
