Possession by Neil LeBute (2002) followed by The French Lieutenant's Woman (1981).
Both with victorian / contemporary parallel narratives. Jennifer Ehle looks so much like Meryl Streep.
FLW is the superior film. Though in both cases the books they're based on are so much better (obv)
"In the company of men" is a tough watch but worth it.
