Has anyone used this rack and can say whether it's any good? Seems like a steal (on sale at the moment) for the kind of medium seized platform rack I'm looking for.

Would be going on an old 26" mtb, so I'm worried it might be a bit tall.

I have a friend that uses it, and he is pretty happy with it. He used it for some bike touring as well, so pretty durable I assume.

If all else fails you could find or make some shorter struts, I know Nitto has some options.

What would you call those mini bar end stubs that you can fit on flat bars inside the levers to make an on the hoods type position? Not sure I want them but curious, I’ve got chronic nerve pain so the more positions the better

SQ Labs call them inner bar ends - bar ins?

Thought I'd argue you can just use regular barends mounted inwards.
