Pretty much all the effected Canyon sponsored riders are still riding the same current model aeroadframes, but with the fork and bar switched out for older externally routed versions - team mechanics have just drilled holes in the head tube for rear brake hose & Di2 routing.
I think all the teams basically flat out refused to revert to the older aeroad, I dont know if this is because there just simply arent any old frames “lying around”, or rider preference.

Jules was sketchy as on the descent last year. I think he was just brimming with excitement. He gets like that sometimes.
