A non cycling friend of mine had popped by as it entered the last 30 minutes, and by the closing km we were both out the sofa cheering him on.

Do we think he has a say into his kit colours? Always thought these decisions were made between Brad in Marketing team and Karen from the sponsor who is new to the role but found the brand guidines on the intranet and sent them over last week (brandguidelines_fenix2016_final.zip)

Why does Geniets have next to no branding on his jersey? It really confuses me.

Different blue. Probably helps that I see loads of the Lux blue every single day; they love a flag here.

Pretty much all the effected Canyon sponsored riders are still riding the same current model aeroadframes, but with the fork and bar switched out for older externally routed versions - team mechanics have just drilled holes in the head tube for rear brake hose & Di2 routing.

I think all the teams basically flat out refused to revert to the older aeroad, I dont know if this is because there just simply arent any old frames “lying around”, or rider preference.
