Anyway, have grx 600 1x in 172.5mm, but could do with 170mm
Given grx is hard to find, besides keeping an eye out on eBay, what other options would work with the chainring / pushfit BB combo?

Defs had dibs but that's okay

The other empty seat 4 back from that?

Keep riding what you have, nobody will notice a 2.5mm in crank length

More legroom at the back so I hear

why are you bothering getting new cranks. Why do you NEED new cranks? You wont notice 2.5mm.
Ive rode 170 and 175 cranks on the same bike and noticed no diff.

It’s not a need, more of a 170 is what I’ve ridden for years and it works for me kinda thing.
And given we’re on a thread where needless things are added to bikes for “adventure” and “gravel” changing cranks because of some cognitive bias is par for the course surely.

I thought gravel and adventure was a mindset?

170 to 175 is bit much, 170 to 172.5 not much tbh .. just change fore-aft and height of saddle

@cozey - what day/week/month is bikefitting chat?
-
• #17764
Wait is there where we wake up and this whole the has been a dream?
-
• #17765
Just wait until the chainrings are toast, for the asking price of new Shimano chainrings you can almost get the full crank.
-
• #17766
Fair, this is also true, can we fit it into the argument/chat schedule for this year?
-
• #17767
Damn, shitfromabutt season is ending so that could be a while
-
• #17768
I'd advocate for this change, mostly cos I'm a roadie really and ruts terrify me
-
• #17769
On that note, is anyone really tall and wants to swap my 175 force 1 cranks for your 170 before I make my seatpost unadjustable?

• #17771
Recirculate the agenda.

Surely we’re at the AOB stage by now?

Has nobody read the Standing Orders?

You have no authority here!

I'm the one turning the speed up on the controls and disengaging the seat restraints.
MTBers - bringing guns to knife fights and sofas to standing room only events since 1999.
;)
Is it okay if I ask an actual gravel bike related question?
Or should i phrase in the form of a meme?
