I'm, with @skinny on this fam. All his choices are more interesting, no offence.
MT09 is a bit aged and whilst the engine is a peach, the damping (especially) and braking was not confidence inspiring.
The new Husqvarna (for looks) which is pretty much a KTM.
Tuono V4's aren't obscenely priced.Superbike wise, R1 or Aprilia RSV4 for noise, and GSXR1000 for dot it all.
Tuono's can sound incredible.

You should consider buying me a nice summer bike too. I guess that's not the kind of suggestion you wanted though.
How about the BMW RNineT or whatever it's called. They come in a lot of varieties. If you need it to be cheaper to run then it has to be less sporty.
It has to be worth the money for the 899 to hear it crackling on the over run while you engine brake it into some bend in an English country road though.
Also, are the Augustas still silly money?
I've been thinking about a summer / nice weather bike for tooling around on.
Had my heart set on an 899 Panigale but prices (and insurance) are still meaty. Might just get an MT-09 again. They're cheap af either new on finance or used.
Anything else I should consider?
