Completely understand about the cam chain. I just meant it shouldn't put anyone off buying it.
The Diversion used to be very popular. Always thought it was similar to the Bandit. £900 seems like a decent price but don't you like customising your bikes? Wouldn't that possibly end up damaging the value?

Well, I am loathe to do any more work on it until I know it passes MOT this afternoon. A bit nervous.
If it fails for reparable reasons then maybe I add camchain to the list. If it passes, I’m conflicted on keeping it as a runabout and selling it to make space for something more useful. If I sell, I’ll just advise the new owner.
Guy I know has a bone stock unmolested 90’s XJ600N (50k on the clocks I think) with almost no issues. Had advertised around £1100, but with a view of getting £900 if I was interested. Even if I get a stupid low price for the GN, that makes the XJ affordable as a road miles bike.
