Through-sole and heel was always around £50-60 here (at the cheapest places), so I guess that money isn’t far off. I guess you could try a different cobbler though?
Alternatively, see about just getting a stick-a-sole (rubber half sole) placed over the worn leather.
It should be much cheaper and allow you to keep wearing them until the rubber wears out, and again replace with new rubber without losing any more leather sole. This is what I’ve done in the past to avoid rebuilding a shoe.
Was giving my Bass Weejuns a little buff yesterday and noticed the sole was just starting to wear through... Took them to the nearest cobblers, it's in a shopping centre but apparently their work is pretty good... $99 for new leather soles and heels... They only cost me $99 delivered from the UK!!! 🤔ðŸ¤
