You sure can, I'll check them out, but I also don't want to add to many to the list, my goal is to shortlist further my initial suggestions rather than making it bigger, otherwise, I know myself, I will never decide :D

Add rourke into the mix. By far the most experienced builder in uk.
Edit i won't suggest anymore. -

This sounds an expensive way to resolve toe overlap. Subbed.
-
• #30
wtf is going on, literally every bike (except MTB and cargo) I have has toe overlap. Even the fixie.
Embrace it.
Also add waltly titanium to that list.

True, I admit it, but I also wanted to scratch the itch if I have to be honest and own something special.

I mean no disrespect but I'm not particularly inclined to embrace the idea of tripping again in the middle of London traffic during my commute (it happened various time already), it's not fun, I got almost run over once as well so thank you but no thank you.

Cheers :)

Thanks for the recommendation though.

Yeah Kevin is master builder at Woodrup, though by the looks of it Steve Woodrup has been getting out the torch again
-
• #36
Cheers, thanks for confirming

This one https://www.rourkecycles.co.uk ? It doesn't seem they do custom...

Different site :-)

Wow, those prices are...decent no?
-
• #41
Very decent... especially if you consider they are pricing Reynolds 953 at the same price Colossi/Barbastelle are pricing Spirit that should be equivalent to Reynolds 853.
-
• #42
They are, especially considering the amount of experience there
-
• #43
Yeah they’re pretty specific about tubing used.
I’m going off some basic fantasies for myself. A genesis volare 931 comes in at over £2k for a frame set.@BareNecessities I was always under the impression certain makers simply refused to move with the times.
Their bikes look great. Not out of place on whatever Instagram feed you scroll through.Food for thought.

I was always under the impression certain makers simply refused to move with the times.
I would have though that too, but they have a flat mount disc, fat headtube model now
-
• #46
I really want a 953 Rourke now
-
• #48
Don't be silly, I actually love that finish, the way the seat stays seamlessly wrap around the seat tube... you just gave me an idea for my build :P

Oof, that’s not helpful at all. Sturdy’s bikes are something else.
Can I add six four frameworks. Adrian was employed by Roberts and built some of the top frames such as reynolds 953.
He doing a lot repair work but also scratch building.
