odd that isn't it. definitely see quite a few mitsubishis on the roads still; new ones at that. they can't be selling that badly?

Does seem strange doesn't it. I'm sure it's happened but I can't think of another manufacturer that's just stopped supporting / selling into a whole country before. I assume it won't be the first (manufacturer or industry) over the coming years

Not a matter of sales, they are part of the renault nissan alliance and this has been the plan for a long while. The three companies have divided the world in to where the companies will trade. The vehicles will be developed together then badge engineering etc.
