I would try my hardest to upgrade to Rohloff - budget allowing.

Lots of people clocking up miles on Nuvinci hubs though.

We're still waiting on our demo 70, but I worry about the limited gear range of the Vario on a bike that heavy if you live in any sort of hilly place. Got plenty of 80 Varios rolling around Seattle just fine, but the 70 is on paper 5-9kg heavier than an 80...
