• A very good point....
    I'm convinced that downtube external routing is too ugly so that will have to go inside, but I'm fairly relaxed about external chainstay routing...
    As far as I can see, the options are:

    • Thru DT - thru T47 BB - thru CS
    • Out of the DT - under the BB - back into CS
    • Out of the DT - under the BB - outside the CS
      Given your good point on the weatherproofing of the DT - CS concept above I think I'm inclined toward internal DT/external CS.

  • The internal hose routings like in your photos will be a smaller stainless tube brazed in so there's no access for water or mud to actually get inside the frame tube, it would just get into the hose routing tube which as I say, will most likely be stainless.

  • That's correct - I'd assumed it was only the boujie-builders that line with stainless tube - it seems I'm wrong and everyone does it...
