They do self-steer but I believe it's due to wheel flop rather than anything inherent in the tyre. I could change my Angleset headset angle to change the flop tendency but I can't be bothered as I stopped noticing it or caring the second ride.
They (schwalbe g one all-round in 650*57) "feel fast" for a big tyre even with tubes.
How did you get on with the big volume g-ones? I've been looking at 50mm "speeds" for summer but saw comments in the gravel thread about self steering so trying to get the lay of the land a bit
