Has anyone got rid of an old shed before? If so, how did you do it please?
I have a shed that's half-mush, half-wood - it's a liability & needs to go. I'm in SE London with no car so taking it to the dump is out. I looked at those skip bags but they're horrendously expensive - any lower cost option would be appreciated please!
A shed this old is almost certainly made from tanalised timber, the old solvented tanalising fluid based upon copper chrome arsenate. Any of those will kill you, especially in damp wood smoke.
Hopefully your local authority has a safe method of disposal.
