Yes it was the bouncer! I offered him everything.
No achievements yet, I’ve not had time to sit down with it for a while.

If you've not figured him out yet I guarantee you have what he needs you just need to pay attention to what he says in his dialogues. you'll kick yourself when you get it too.

the achievements just kind of happen (usually when you're being dumb) some are quite funny though.
