If you did integrated you could make it functional but also look decent maybe - would be easiest to use on the daily.
As for doors to screen the utility space - I do see the logic - bifold's might be annoying unless the hardwear / installation is top notch (cheap rattly janky tracks would piss me off ).
small humans=big washing so when that happens i would posit the doors will be open 95% of the time.

Where is that pic from? Good shout reg rattly doors, I would build them myself so prob bodge them in some way whereas cabinets would be a bit simpler.
The exact dims of the area are 127cm wide by 12ocm deep (but the room itself is bigger, prob around 220 deep but need the rest of the space to walk through).
A render is prob easier as it shows the space better plus good posture person.
Doug is coming round to chat stuff today so will ask him too.
