• Whats the flooring?
I have just had 12mm ply fitted directly to joists, which was a tough job as they were all over the shop and daft thin ply was the only way to get the floor to line up with. the floorboards without having a threshold step. To make it more rigid noggins were fitted every 400mm to create a grid for the ply to be screws down to. It appears to be working so far.

Utility "room" question. Should I have cupboards to hided the dryer and washing machine or should I get bifold doors for the entire space. Floor plan attached...

  • If you want to cover them up I would go integrated, as Dov says a door inside a door would be annoying.

Not going to do a @Soul and put your drier on top of the washing machine?

  • He made that comment when I showed a floorpan with a door where there was just a doorway... integrated is still opening a door really, I'm torn.
