What kind of flooring is it?
If it was me I’d sheet the floor so it was flat and level before laying my fancy new flooring.
No particular floor in mind yet. I've had quotes for engineered wood on top on a ply sub floor. X2 material and X2 labour adds up. So I wondered if I could lay 22mm t&g boards, preferably hardwood, straight onto the joints to reduce some cost
I mean you could level it and ply it yourself if your not terrible at DIY.
Just don’t get giant screws that will go through the boards in case you puncture pipes or put it through a cable!
