Whats the flooring?
I have just had 12mm ply fitted directly to joists, which was a tough job as they were all over the shop and daft thin ply was the only way to get the floor to line up with. the floorboards without having a threshold step. To make it more rigid noggins were fitted every 400mm to create a grid for the ply to be screws down to. It appears to be working so far.Utility "room" question. Should I have cupboards to hided the dryer and washing machine or should I get bifold doors for the entire space. Floor plan attached...

If you want to cover them up I would go integrated, as Dov says a door inside a door would be annoying.
Not going to do a @Soul and put your drier on top of the washing machine?
Is fixing 22mm flooring direct to joists a daft idea to save on some labour and materials? Or would I be better off paying for a sub floor to lay flooring on top of?
