I read the book a few years ago and was intrigued when I saw it was being made into a series, particularly as a Swedish production. Will give it a go when I can.

The book was amazing. Dense detail about these British Arctic explorers seeking the North passage. Dan Simmons is one of my favorite authors especially his magical horror stories. His Sci fi is decent too.
Should be a great watch

i need to read the book too. It was on a couple of years ago i think . Jared Harris is excellent in it and has a great feel to it

When Disney bought Fox they also regained rights to a load of characters that marvel had sold when they were in dire financial straits.

Fantastic 4 and X men are the main ones.

Talking about Disney acquiring Fox, I dread to see Alien/Predator/Mcu crossover as Dark Horse lost licenses to marvel last year.

It's already started in the comics.

Detectorists, just finished series 1. I watched a couple of episodes a few years back and gave up because I thought it was a bit slow-burning, but it’s great. Reminds me so much of the model aircraft clubs I was in when I was younger.
