I've done it on a dynatech 700 before. No issues whatsoever. Its 2mm each side, barely a difference.

Thanks Phil. I wouldn't normally worry, but weren't these frames notorious for failures anyway?

I've heard of them coming unbonded yeah. Can't say whether stretching the rear is going to fast forward this. I didn't own mine for long but had no problems while I did.

@Ed209 I too ran a 130 hub in the rear of mine without any issues. Frame did die in the end but that was more the fault of the Land Rover hitting me.
