I did miss that one, thanks. Looks like a beefed up Nuroad Ex.

Only Evans sell Norco but only gravel frame sets. Looked at their site and surprisingly all models are 2x RX400 across the board. Lovely frames though!

which got me thinking maybe there's something else within my budget (£1,700 ish)
Lols.
Sorry, not helpful, it’s hard to get gravel bike in that prices range nowadays.

£1200 will get you a secondhand Genesis fork...
(must be an extra zero mistake)

• #17582
I got an almost identical one for £50 off the forum years ago. eBay madness.
Does certainly seem like prices for all things bike has gone through the roof lately.

Arkose 4s are in stock at Evans...

Just got this, good spec for the price.

This is why I built mine up from a frame and a bunch of components, but there are some things that are just not available anywhere.
There's no GRX anything except a few stockists with chainsets.
There are no flat mount calipers anywhere, but you can get Shimano 105 with flat mounts, so this is probably the way to go. I bought post mounts and added adaptors.
I couldn't find much SRAM stuff either, but I wasn't really looking.
Even factory wheels are tough to find. -

Basically the same with CX tyres and less sloped TT. Fitted one with 700x40 the other day and it looked amazing with plenty of clearance.
-
• #17587
Obviously more expensive, but Hope RX4 flat mount calipers are likely to be available still and are really good + they do versions compatible with pretty much everything.

Looking for some alloy rims for allroad / gravel light, should I consider anything else other than some Archetypes or some disc OpenPro ?
Will be running tires anywhere between 32 - 38
-
• #17589
Archetypes?
Would look at the slightly wider, disc specific and tubeless compatible Hydra.
-
• #17590
Kinlin XR are good alloy rims with 19.5ish internal so OK for 32-38 tyres. Various depths too.
Or if you want the bargain of the century: https://www.spacycles.co.uk/m20b0s116p4299/AMBROSIO-P20-Black

For some reason I'd always considered the archetypes to be relatively wide, but just checked and the 23mm I'd always thought was the internal wide is the overall width. Just as well I checked that again!
OpenPros are 19mm internal these days and there available
-
• #17592
DT Swiss 511 aren't wide but I ran 700x50 on this at Badlands and same goes for Kinlin XR31.
You can go wider but then you may have frame clearance issues (which bike?) and you can sometimes expose more sidewall.
-
• #17593
Those Ambrosio are a bargain but I'm really looking for 32 hole.
-
• #17594
Yep and most tyres around 35 will be designed for 19/20 internal
-
• #17595
(which bike?)
Well that's that's the question isn't it.
Midnight Special (if I wait for the delivery)
Brother mehteh (less likely, would look silly with smaller rubber)Most likely a Wilier Jaroon, which has clearance up to 42.

Very narrow.

LOL

Boom! Thanks, not sure how I missed this one too.. Pretty much same as the one I've ordered with a few minor exceptions but I do prefer the looks more (non of those garish Ribble vinyls/decals) and it's 260 quid cheaper. Placed an order, messaging Ribble now to cancel. You made my day!

Good to see a return to business as usual, just get an Arkose can be restored.

Do they do Norco search in the UK?
