Got any more photos of that DB5, or the car behind it? (is that a Ponton Mercedes?)
I didn't know you were retrimming the interior. Are you deleting the rear seats entirely?
There is an absolute treasure trove of cars in there, I didn't feel comfortable snapping away so what you've got is what's in the background to my car I'm afraid.
I parked behind an STi, next to a McLaren, then got boxed in my a Brabus G-Wagon, and those were the common vehicles on site.
Rear - yes, deleting the rear seats completely, two lockable stowage compartments where the base of the seats are as there are two hollows in the body shell, then quite a nice large, flat bottomed storage area with a fabric bulkhead that clips onto the seatbelt mounting points.
All the carpet is being evicted, being replaced with Alcantara, a final (?) upgrade of the sound-system and some detail work to some elements of the stying - the centre console in body-colour for example, some work to the orange shade on the indicators etc etc.
All the carpet? What’s wrong with carpet?
I would have done a similar thing with the Aston if I had found a DBS owner who ordered a 2+0 interior in Moon Shadow and suddenly wanted rear seats. As it was I just put seatbelts round the wine cases and it was all fine.
The carpet is a sort of light purpley blue and just looks wrong, to my eyes. I think Alcantara will be a nice detail change that people won’t immediately spot but that will change the character of the interior.
