Norweigen FA holding a special meetign to discuss boycotting Qatar 2022.
Yes just a meeting, but the fact any FA is doing that is a start
The Norwegian Football Association will hold an extraordinary event on
Sunday 20 June, where the Qatar boycott will be the main theme. It was
decided on Friday. This is confirmed by football president Terje Svendsen to NTB.
On Friday, a federal board meeting was held where it was decided that
the extraordinary football meeting will be held on 20 June.We have pointed out that date. There we will discuss the issue of Qatar boycott, says Svendsen to NTB.
We will shed light on all aspects of the question of a possible boycott and make a good case presentation. It will be a broadly
composed committee that we have not decided yet, which will work on
the issue, says the football president.
He says that there will now be a project period of three months before
the case is up for consideration in three months, 20 June. (NTB) -

Fell asleep twenty or so minutes into the Leeds game, woke up to the post match analysis and trotted off to bed... The human body is an amazing thing, eh?

Followed by a stupid sending off...

The arsenal player lying on the the ground behind the wall as Kane delivered that final free kick has to be the funniest defensive set up I’ve ever seen.
Edit; okay this is not original clearly I don’t watch enough football
Lamela’s goal was ace btw.

• #155766
i think it was a sheffield game a few weeks back where they had the bloke lying on the floor behind the wall, the goalie asked for him to move a few inches one way and his team mate just grabbed his head and dragged him along the floor those couple of inches
-
• #155767
sorry citeh
juuuust a couple of inches
-
• #155768
hilarious 😆 anyways come 3 April I’m expecting Liverpool to be back to winning ways against the Gooners
Edit; I’ve just watched MOTD, Spurs played so much better with 10 players and after ESR was subbed.
Lamela first yellow card was harsh,
penalty VAR decision totally ridiculousMichael Oliver 2 - Spurs 1

The Rabona nutmegged Partey as well. Man he must have been pissed.
-
• #155770
I thought it wasn't a pen but the commentary I was watching was adamant it was clear cut. It was just a comming together. Not every thing is a foul. I would need to look again.
-
• #155771
I think it would have been a foul anywhere else on the pitch. The fact that lacazette missed the shot and the ball had gone should be irrelevant, and it was a very clumsy challenge. One of those you complain about if they’re given against you, but very happy when they’re given for you.
-
• #155772
i thought sanchez made an attempted block and lacazette's momentum took him into Sanchez when i saw it yesterday, but yeah one probably one of them see them given type.
was happy for Iheanacho always thought he could be a good solid 12/15 goals a season but has never kicked on but when you have Vardy and Aguero a head of you it must be difficult! -
• #155773
Yep, really pleased for Nacho, he was in tears after the third. Nice to see that Rogers has found a way to play him with Vardy, when Vardy has been seen as a lone striker for so long. Like so much of our season, good stuff (Justin, Fofana, Nacho) has come out of changes forced by injury. We’ll need some points in the bank before the last three games.

Re Lacazette penalty, reminds me off this:
-
• #155775
He was due a clear 3 or 4 yellows, there can't be complaints when 2 of them catch you out.
Penalty I'm not convinced by, Kane dodging an orange for clattering Gabriel like the shit he is has unsurprisingly passed the English media by.
Derbies are difficult to watch with 3 year olds in the room.
