I’m not a Campag expert but I know the drilled pulleys are on the very earliest production GS.
So 52 or 53?

I finally got around to signing up again (it’s been many years since I was a member)

I’m not sure how long before I can access library etc.

If you go to the VCC website, There is either an email address to use or try and access the library and that will notify your attempt and whoever is in charge (can't recall) will then get you access.
I don't think it takes long.

I thought the same.
I bought some green cable outer years ago for my Gillott when/if it ever gets finished (green box lining) but it’s not this type with the lateral ribbing.
Is it possible to find something similar?

The length wise ribbed outer can normally only be found in grey, white and black - You can sometimes find used outer in colours but not very often.

But it's vertical ribbing not length wise and not sure it would suit

I've always thought black or something to contrast with frame colour, but matching with that dark red looks v classy.

The pulley wheels and mounting bolt are wrong for the cage (based on about 10 minutes of internet ‘research’

And it’s ambitious pricing but still ...

I think I have got the last component for my Gillott build (unless @Nbenja3 has another rusty Gnutti splined chainset to tempt me off my no re-chromed straight and narrow!)

I just bought 2 alloy Simplex rings from Hilary - which seems almost like cheating; not finding them in a jumble or putting in a crafty bid on eBay.
Just got to get the frame painted and the stem re-chromed (I know, I can’t even follow my own arbitrary rules)

But I’m excited

I like shopping from Hilary. If you can manage to force him to take your money you do get the good stuff 🤓
