Not huge... I ran it with 28s before and there wasn't much room for much more... I fine with that tbf, suits for commuting

Nice. Would be interested to see them with the stems swapped over.

Thanks. I’m afraid you’re going to have to use your imagination.

Someone buy here and do a CP please, I don't have the space. I thought at first it was a dodgy ad, but after sending a couple of q's to the seller, I don't think it is. Not a bad price, those DA seatposts alone go for a bit.
Seller reckons it's a 52, which makes me think it's a 650c. I didn't clarify that piece.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a replacement thru axle for a caad 12? One without a lever. I know it's 100x12 but can't find if the pitch is 1mm like on a caad13 or 1.5mm.

Have you had a look at https://robertaxleproject.com ?
They have an axle finder and if that doesn't work you can print off a measuring guide which might help.

finished apart from bleeding the brakes and popping some cages on.
not the blingest build out there, but I'm not the blingest guy, so that's fine by me.

I have a 56cm black/white CAAD7 frame that's too small for me, its seat tube measures 54cm ctc, I need something around 56/57cm ctc. It's in good condition.
Anyone have anything similar to swap?

Is the headtube too low and the top tube too short?
Seat tube length is really not a good indicator of frame size. You could make exactly the same size frame with a 50cm seat tube or a 60cm one, the position wouldn't necessarily change -

i had an optimo caad7, the 56 really was 56cm. what model is it exactly ?

@PhilDAS With a horizontal top tube, wouldn't it make sense that I need the same seat tube length I have on other horizontal top tube bikes - the top of the headtube would be in the same place wouldn't it?
The top tube is fine, just don't want a tower of spacers.
@Glws Weirdly it is an optimo one - seat tube is 56cm to the top of the tube, obviously less to the centre of it.

Only in height, it could be any length.
I'm sure it's fine for a general rule of thumb. It's just handy knowing your ideal measurements in other dimensions. -
