Seller lives in HK so I doubt they can help!
Normally wouldn't be so bothered about leaving the car in Hackney and riding back but I've barely been able to walk and just about ride since the start of Feb. thanks to sciatica which caused damage to a nerve in my leg and something really painful called tenosynovitis in my foot/ankle. It's been a bit shit tbh.
That's a good idea - what sort of cake do you like @chrisbmx116 ? ;)

How do you handle resident parking permits when you move?
Either check the council website to see if it's possible to get a temporary permit, many do them for 2 weeks (on reduced burdens of proof) for this kind of reason.
Or just find the nearest place to park nearby that's not covered by a CPZ.

Aha, you can get a month:
https://www.walthamforest.gov.uk/content/temporary-one-month-residents-parking-permitGreat stuff, thanks, especially as visitor permits would work out at a fiver a day...
I'm sure we'll bake @chrisbmx116 a cake another time.

Sorry, what have I missed? Do you need a permit? Drop me a pm or just call round.

Top job, did you hire the kit?
-
• #44384
Aye, belt/floor sander and edge sender. £112 for pick up yesterday, drop off Monday AM. Should have got more dust bags. Only got two per machine. On the second one for the belt sander and just out a hole in it.

Nah don't worry apparently not, can get a special temporary one with a letter from our solicitors.
How's the bathroom going, I haven't seen any more pics yet?

Almost annoyed that this is the spare/box room. So much effort and a really nice view.

Don't know, don't switch on and it's not the fuse. I think the power switch is the next thing to check.
We bought it in 2009, it cost £88 and it survived a major building project, but it's the more powerful version that got banned by the EU and well, it's got a face, so I think I'd find chucking him traumatic.

Ahhh cool. Feel free to shout if you need a temp one between now and then.
Bathroom is 99% done, but it’s tough to get pics as it all comes out way too warm. This is close to accurate...

I know! I wasn’t able to find white and all the brass ones were way too garish. Plan was to paint them but they don’t actually stand out that much imo.

I'm sure they'll accept expats. :)

Tempted, but it's right next to mrs_com's office and makes more sense as a spare room. My office is the tiny box room next to our bedroom which wouldn't fit a double bed.

Ta. Looks great! You need that guy from TMH we had, he would have got you to hold a towel over the window to stop the reflection in the glass while he took a picture...
ask the seller to get you a couple of hourly permits - it’s pretty straightforward to do online. If they refuse maybe @chrisbmx116 could sort you out?
