Pretty sure he gifted Pog the TDF

Hope Mads Wurtz Schmidt can hang on here. He’s not a natural looking climber is he?
Edit - he lost 50 secs within a kilometre.

Well that was pretty strong attack.

Ineos needs to go shopping.
So far it doesn't look like the early season is going to be good for them

I don’t see proper GC contenders in that squad this year. Maybe Carapaz.
Rog and Pog are flying and I don’t believe they’re peaking too early. It’s terrifying to think this could be them tapering in.

Froomey is vlogging and I love it. If someone rode up to me on a climb riding scooter with euro house music on a speaker I’d be livid.

If the hospital operated on my collar bone the day it broke I would have had 4 weeks recovery vs 13 months.

Not just Rog and Pog, Yates looked good today. WVA being 15 seconds up on Geraint Thomas is a huge warning sign for them. If they're backing Thomas for a grand tour, it better be the Vuelta and Bernal got dumped off the back as well.

Any idea of Yates time? It's funny that Sky/Ineos smashing times is a doping warning sign but Rog and Pog are just the signs of a new generation. That said, Pog just looked to attack at a good time today; good racing as opposed to super dodgy.

Shorter stage would have helped out wouldn't it?
Yates was 5 seconds slower.

They’re backing G for the TdF with Tao. Seems doomed right now. DB at the whiteboard as we type.

atz: I'm just trolling because comparing times on climbs is always the go-to for people who want to explain everything through doping. Yates was in the same group as Pogacar at the bottom of the climb so I guess his time was 6 seconds slower. Anyone in Pogacar's group who got in within 2 minutes of him beat Froome's time - almost the whole top 20.
Roglic clearly not interested in having favours he can call in in the future from Bahrain. Indurain wouldn't have sprinted for that win. -

This title made me to a double take when I was scanning through the news just now:
Bernal and Thomas positive about future goals after testing day at Tirreno-Adriatico
Subliminal clickbait?

No one has won Tirreno and the Tour de France in the same year since Cadel Evans in 2011. Thomas was 3rd there in 2018 though and Froome was 2nd in 2013.

What do you expect if all you've done from the age of 12 is ride a bike, weigh your food and sleep the other 14 hours a day.

What's with this current urge to write everything off after one slightly disappointing result? Ineos' three leaders all lost time yesterday, so they needed to make the final climb hard today to get rid of domestiques and make it a straight race between the leaders. They did that, then Bernal went, got pulled back, Thomas went, twice, and got pulled back, Bernal went again, but got pulled back. So they threw everything at it, but it backfired a bit and they lost time on most of the other GC riders.
C'est la vie, but they died with their boots on.
xunt move imo. DQ
