Drat, hope they (Strava) haven't added restrictions. I don't have heatmap in chrome either.
I'll have a play with it today to see if there's a workaround.
Routecheck page hits this special heatmap auth url in the background when it opens, which lets the heatmap tiles load. Right now it's return 401 (auth required) and the tiles are returning 403 (sod off). The auth url loads fine directly in another tab, it's just failing for routecheck.cc.
