• It's a shame really. 140mm works perfectly fine for my needs on the rear and would have liked matching hopes but I'll put up with keeping the shimano rear caliper

  • What's the reason for not using Hope and 160mm? One bike I'd like to use Hope calipers on already has a fork with 'rear-style' flat mount direct for 160mm so I guess it would take a an unnecessarily huge 180mm front rotor.

  • No practical reason. I have an RX4 and 160mm on the front and it's very effective.
    I just like the smaller rotor on the rear where it's not as necessary. Looks neater is all.
    I'm a fairly light rider on a fairly light bike. I'm thinking about RX4 front and rear for my next winter bike build though
