Can't comment on A-line but my All day bibs are my favourite bit of kit. Fit wise they're similar to my Rapha's but they look and feel much better on my stumpy legs. Durability wise they've held up very well. They've upped a generation since mine but i'm guessing they're still good (as is all my Attaquer gear). Down to £145 at Sigma which is A line territory.

This induced an actual wince.

The copy on the website is nauseating. The mesh & aero jerseys are for “experienced post-diet racers only”, definitely on purpose, definitely haven’t fucked up the dimensions. I only clicked on them because it looks Rick Owens

you can buy the nice "la passione" original rip-off > PSN

It's a bit like reading some auto-translate product descriptions on AliExpress, close enough to making sense to be believable yet absurd enough to look like grade a trolling

Same with rapha cc imo

Long shot but some time ago, somewhere on the forum, someone linked to some totally plain cycling socks available in white or black from AliExpress that were cheap and well made.
Every so often I check to see if I can find them and searching just turns up fake Rapha and Maap socks. Does anyone know if ordering these might actually yield plain ones?

Not ebay and maybe a bit more but I saved this link when mentioned in this thread. The people seem to approve :

nothing says "visionary aesthetics" and "innovative designs" like a shortsleeve jersey in block colours with a wordmark logo printed on the chest.
...in Helvetica (probably, I can't be bothered to verify).

I've had the same experience and tend to just buy the fake Rapha ones, as the quality tends to be pretty good and they're fairly subtle. I've had good experiences with this store https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32824323253.html

What I don’t get with that NVPA stuff is how they’ve managed to register so many trademarks for words like LONG, MESH, SHORT and BIB? Must’ve cost a fortune to register them and all the legal fees against other people that use these words to sell cycling apparel...

OffWhite
It’s all very Virgil Abloh but without anything interesting isn’t it.
Is PNS stuff really really physically nice?

Yes, it’s very nice kit

I think they're taking the piss. I wonder if Dan Stevens (amateur racer banned for a couple of years for refusing a doping test) is still involved.

I'm actually looking to replace some really nice Atout ones that I've successfully ruined by MTBing through the winter and snagging them on brambles and branches.
Pulled the trigger on the fake AliExpress Rapha ones link to by @dglshrn, 4 pairs of black for £8 shipped seemed to be worth a punt.

Don’t forget Prendas. They have a few plain sock options. £7.50. Old school but I like them and the service is very good.

I know they're taking the piss, but I wonder if they know that using the ® symbol infringes on copyright laws. You can't just use it for the sake of "style".

Ponies?

I’ve long held the belief that the whole brand is some kind of money laundering scheme. They sponsor a number of teams and riders but I’ve never seen their kit on anyone else, or on sale anywhere, including their website for a while. Just doesn’t add up.

Hope they work out for you. I've had two orders from there in the last year and they've been good, but it's always a bit of a risk with AliExpress.

For summer socks with elasticity these are really good. Available in white.
https://a.aliexpress.com/_vteJsp
They’re a little thicker than most summer socks but that’s fine for the UK and (being super-stretchy) they don’t bunch-up at all.

I want all the Walter Van Beirendonck jerseys except the only one currently available -
https://www.matchesfashion.com/products/Walter-Van-Beirendonck-Awake-a-New-World-jersey-track-top-1403465
It’s been 5minutes and we’re rebranding and dropping the vowels - we’re now ‘LV,LGH,LV’ or LVLGHLV.CC, we’re about to drop a new line of inverse colourway kit for memebers only and our oversocks are now £180...
