Any suggestions of anything I could do with these? Should probably not have left them in a box on a shelf for fifteen or so years.
Seems a shame to throw them out.

Sell them to someone who will sole transplant

Sad lol. I feel really bad about not wearing them. They always made my feet a bit hot so were never first choice and then forgot I had them. I finally remembered I had them a few years ago, excitedly got them out and put them on and they crumbled...
The uppers are in much better shape than they look in that photo.

I wore my Foot Patrol and Air You Breathe to death bitd. Last ones I bought. Still have some ratty Structures from 2008 in storage somewhere.

Are those Jumpman or Nike Air on the heel?

Nike Air - pretty sure they're the 2000 reissues.

Mine were pretty nasty. I had left them in the garden to air and the dustmen took them. I hated dustmen for quite a long time after that.

Get a re sole done. Are the tops salvageable?

The tops are in pretty good shape, just need cleaning. But I'm guessing the cost of re-soling them doesn't really justify it. Would be tempted to have a go myself as a fun project when I get time, but where would you get a replacement set of soles from?

Aye because the resell on them is mental, but what you meant to do leave them in the box.

Could go for a total hybread... Blazer sole. Or Get a sole from a cheap pair of fakes from China.

I suppose I should watch some youtube videos on it. Don't really understand how you match the top/bottom when they're different shapes. Guessing you have to do quite a bit of trimming.

Generally the shape of most basketball boots are roughly the same, it's when you go basketball to running shoe the shaping becomes a problem. Have a look at some of the fashion reps on reddit to get an idea of how the fakes look

I sole swapped 2000 AJ3 uppers with some shit Jordan brand monstrosities but separating freshly glued uppers from the soles is no joke and you need to find some fairly specialist adhesive as the one all the Youtube USA guys use (Barge) is illegal in UK.

Followed some fake factories on Insta with vague intention of ordering a load of AJ1 soles

Some of them are very very good. I'm sure you could do a job lot on just the sole units.
