The deep drop bars are not my preference but it's your bike. It still slaps

Running a chain guide, if not can you take the front mech hanger off. Otherwise looks great, I like the sprinkling of blue

The colour combo looks great! I am thinking of buying the same frame in XL. How tall are you? I presume you are on the top end for that frame. Have you experienced an issue with the slipping seat post?

It somehow, through absolutely no method whatsoever other than chance, has exactly the same 11cm saddle to bar drop of my CAAD12. Which was fully slammed.

Bars, we'll see how I get on. I've got nearly a 2m span of the arms so they tend to eat up much of the drop. In some respect though the bike does deserve an aero bar, but at my usual 44cm they start to get a little flexible.

Got one. Can’t decide if it looks a little shit. Wolf tooth one was too small.
Need a black spacer at the very least - the one I ordered from Triton that was in stock they hadn’t dispatched after 15 days so told them to stick it.

Braze on is riveted on.

No slip on my first 15 mile shake down. Tomorrow we go again.

XL = no toe overlap with size 13s and 175mm cranks. Wish this had been researched more by reviewers. Basically all of them say it’s a problem on this bike and it was one of the reasons I didn’t buy one of these last year when they were on Merlin offer originally.
Live and learn I guess.

This thing is an absolute rocket. The handling at speed is on another level vs my CAAD12. Much enjoy. 10/10. Will ride again.

Seat tube did not appreciate the seatpost bang on minimum insertion and my mass.

Didn't want to try another after very time limited failure. No other big bikes around, soooo SL7.

@stelfox I have a dream one day of doing a 'murdered out but then a rainbow vomited on it' bike, that or with Ti. It was considered for a Black Strada, but general availability of parts (and resale potential....) put pay to that.

Many geometry comparison sites tell me it's not far at all off the XL 3T.

Currently trying to work out stem size. Overall frame reach is longer by 6 mm, but bars' reach is -25mm.
Makes for a -19mm difference which I believe (?) is cancelled out by the 20mm seat post offset.
