If the intention is to re-convert it to a road bike and then sell it on you may find the problem with pricing repeats itself if you fork over £500-1000 for a brand new wheelset. The cost of that to you won't correlate to the actual value and you'll be further out of pocket. Maybe look through the classifieds on here as people are more informative and willing to negotiate than on ebay. If that fails a pair of Zipp clinchers or similar could be had on there relatively inexpensively.

Light Bicycle quality is excellent and price is very affordable!
Good choice! I'd also recommend selling the wheels and getting something with proper brake tracks. Would be a very sick whip with some deep carbon rims!
