  • You’ll get more splitting this. As said above, cost does not equal price - especially if you’ve bought parts new. For a price on a complete bike, you can total up what you’d sell parts for individually (not what they cost you), then basically take off labour to build rather than add on! Or just look at similar stuff for sale on here - have a look at what a grand gets you to understand why people are piling on a bit ;-)

    Also feels like a bit of a weird frame to SS. Would be much more desirable as a geared road bike as it’s meant to be IMHO. Also worth the knowledge gained from learning how to set up gears.

    (This is all meant to be helpful rather than snarky, by the way!)

  • Good choice! I'd also recommend selling the wheels and getting something with proper brake tracks. Would be a very sick whip with some deep carbon rims!
