If I were you I’d try an inline seatpost, and some bars that put your hands further back. Drops, risers, moustache. Anything but those pursuit bar type things basically.

Also your saddle is pushed right back, move that first.

Thanks for the rec! I’m aware of that (hence the comment about swapping out the original bars) and will probably do that if no one is interested, but I think a smaller frame would probably work better in the long run (this works at a push but..). Have positioned the saddle that way for fit reasons (based on comfort and where hips and knees are relative to BB/cranks respectively, but am open to being told I’m misunderstanding something!) and it seems to me that moving it forward will create other issues..

Hey still got this? I'd be interested in the frame if you'd be willing to split it? Or potentially the whole thing too, depending on price. How much were you hoping to get for it?

Still available, though I’ve swapped out the bars, I can put the old ones back no problem. Not keen on splitting; would £415 be realistic for the lot?

Price drop: Have now given up on trying to make one size too large fit me, and would like to shift this if possible. Looking for £385 to recoup what I'm likely to spend on a 53cm frame which is hopefully closer to my size, but open to offers if that sounds unrealistic!
This won't come with pedals and will come with a no-name saddle (or can leave the existing one on if you feel strongly about that) but everything else is original, so not really looking to split. Have also fixed the overly long cabling; but not sure if the marks on the headtube polish out (haven't tried)..
Have also fitted a 18T Sturmey Archer freewheel so this can be flipped and run SS if one would so prefer.

How tall are you? Potentially interested but usually a 53 would be alright for me so wonder if I will get the same problems.
Also, any more updated photos? Also from the non-drive side too? What handlebars did you end up fitting?

I'm 5'7" with a 29" inseam. Will try get you photos tomorrow - have currently removed the brake cabling and levers to use with another bike, but have replaced the original pursuit bars. I had swapped them out for Deda 38cm bullhorns while riding this which at least let me do those 35 mile rides, but am thinking I should get something closer to my size in the longer run (also had a hankering for steel).

Hi, is this still available? Would also like to see the replacement handlebars..
Thanks -

The bars are as in the picture, which are original with the bike. I’ll be keeping the bullhorns which aren’t pictured!

Drive side pictures as requested, sorry I haven’t yet had the time to wash the frame down! Now with the original handlebars replaced, but missing the levers and the cabling (which will also be replaced prior to sale).

Price drop to 330
Edit: Looking for £330 to recoup costs of getting another bike, but do let me know if that seems unrealistic. Am based in SE London (fairly central).
Bought this not too long ago as a winter commuter (also my first foray into fixed!), from someone my height, so I thought it would fit just fine. 54cm seat tube to mid-stem. Am discovering that it’s too aggressive a position for me (hence the raised bars) with its negative sloping top tube and pursuit bars, and I figured instead of swapping out the original bars I’d see if anyone would be interested in the bike as it is. Bike is amazing fun to ride and I’m having a blast commuting with it - great climber and nice and stiff, with good maneuverability, just my style of riding tends towards longer distances and rides and I can’t maintain the stretched out position this requires for rides upwards of two hours.
All parts original Bombtrack save for pedals and saddle. 46 crank - 17t rear, 6061 Alu alloy frame, rear wheel has sealed threads for a freewheel but it’s currently fixed only (edit: can throw in an 18T freewheel). Tektro brakes and bar end levers. Kenda tires.
Please note that there’s marks on the head tube from some terrible cable routing (cabling now resolved), and a paint chip on the left side front fork.
