I think you forgot to circle the bar tape and the bike pump.

• #8915
On the plus side, the white wall its leaning against has good back drop potential.
-
• #8916
I actually swapped the pump round.
U know. For the thread. :oP

The tape is fine. Ratty bikes can be HH. I hadn’t seen the pump. That’s minus a further 10 points.

hasn't this tcr already made an appearance in this thread?
-
• #8919
But why green, blue cables and white saddle?
(because it’s what I had, is not HH)
-
• #8920
“Because I have no taste” is also not HH

Fair point, my matt black Mamil Venge is currently showing off as a backdrop to zoom meetings in my office/pain cave.

Get the pump on NDS and it’s a functional pass.
I enjoyed the marked-up image no end.
There’s another genre here that isn’t quite HH but is worth recognising. It’s custom-build road bikes with character. Zero stock parts. Not really about aesthetics at all. It’s a great approach that’s much easier to live with but it’s not HH.
HHSRB is a more aggressive position and, often, more bling parts. Most people are limited by physiology and finances.

I love my new bike. I think it looks rad. But I’m not going to post it in here because it’s 100% not HHSRB.
If you put your own bike in here, expect it to be subjected to the same critique as all the others.

Still say, the slavest bike in here meets non of your faux patina.
When in Rome. ;oP
