I think it depends on how hard you ride really, if you're bottoming out an air fork or have a fair few tokens in then a short travel coil fork probably isn't for you.
Interestingly the 38 and Zeb coil conversions can be housed in a tube so they don't damage the insides of the stanchions so can be converted back to air should you so require.

Glad you like the bike, I was thinking last weekend about how different a coil Helm would feel to my air-sprung one. What travel do you have yours at?
