Managed a quick blat around Cwmcarn Cafall this morning as the first ride on the Bfe Max.
Have been worrying since I placed the order back in Sept that it wasn’t the right choice.
Today has fucked those ideas right off! I loved it!
So surefooted and capable on a fairly technical trail and soon had me taking the jumpier and drop strewn line.
Also the Helm coil forks are truly incredible. So plush and lots of bedding in to do yet.
Very impressed with the WTB Verdict and Judge tyre, offered loooooads of predictable grip.
Can’t wait to get another ride in but it’ll probably be a week away
