I have a question re DT Swiss freehubs... I'm looking to convert a (9/10sp) Shimano ratchet freehub to Campagnolo and can see a bunch of 'conversion' hubs listed online. Do I need some kind of specific conversion kit, or will any DT ratchet Campagnolo freehub work?

Finished the XR26/low flange Dura Ace track/Sapim wheels last night. The rims (ultimately) built up okay but I had some frustrations with them, from all the swarf I had to remove to how easy it was to lose nipples inside, to a hop at both seams. I didn't have these issues with R460 rims and even the oft maligned Rhynolites were easier to work with despite their initial wobbliness.
Put it down to lack of experience, but at twice the price of the DTs (for me), I'm not sure I'd go back to Kinlin. -

That’s annoying, fwiw have had no such issues with the ones I’ve used!

That seems to generally be the case. It’s probably just me.

£££ defo doesn’t mean good! Sadly.
The rim joint in some stans rims I just built was fairly shit tbh! Compared to halo ones that seem all to be much better

Yeah, big dollar in these things usually means weight reduction or aero research something something.

Managed to dent my mavic open pro ceramic 36h rear rim. Any options apart from paying silly NOS prices on ebay? Any grey low profile alu rims available these days? It's for a rear fixed wheel so doesn't need a brake track really.

I’m looking to get hold of a lightweight 20h straight-pull front hub fairly quickly. Does anyone have anything? Novatec 511 would be ideal.
Would consider set of 20/24h.

Is there such a thing as a 650b/28h/Rim brake rim aside from the Pacenti Brevet??
-

Pricey, but the HED Belgium + comes in that option.
Although only place I can see online is Rene Herse

Can anyone identifiy this rear hub? I'm selling a crewnd someone is asking about a campy freehub swap. I assume 3t don't make these hubs and they are something fairly standard? Like a chosen maybe?

Does anyone had spare lightweight wheelset 11 speed shimano please
-
• #10599
Do you mean Lightweight as in the German Brand? Or just a lightweight wheelset generally? Rim or disc brake?
I have some DT Swiss 240 with CX rays on Kinlin XR-22 rims.

When I was on the hunt I found this list: http://thebicyclewizards.com/index.php/2016/11/23/650b-rimz/
If you want tubeless I think the Pacenti Brevet, HED Belgium or Velocity Quill are the only options. There are a few non tubeless ones though. SJS stocks these Thorn branded rims in black and silver https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/rims-650b-275-584/?type=rim+brake
I ended up getting the Pacenti Brevets in 28h and I am really happy with them.
Good point.
