He uses electric but as far as I know this amp works well for electric, acoustic and bass even!
Check out some video reviews on YouTube, it's an impressive piece of equipment!

Why do you want to amp up the electro-acoustic at home? Is it a case of just wanting to play along and both sounds spraying out towards your ears rather than putting your phone in a stereo set up and setting it to a volume where you can just play the guitar acoustically?
As I understand it, the purpose of electro-acoustic is the ability to put the thing through a PA without having to sit still in front of a mic

Positive Grid Spark, a mate has one and says it's fantastic fun as a play along tool! They're very good value, quite aesthetically pleasing and come with some great software too!
