It's a warning for sure. I'm going to get a band saw to do the really small stuff. I'm getting into to some really small projects during this lockdown. I was trying to cut some really short stock and kickback dragged my finger into the saw. I won't go into the setup but I've been using it that way for 10 years. It just goes to show you, a small change in use and you have to reassess the safety procedures.
