At 75kg, MVDP was doing 5.84w/kg normalised for the last 1.5h. After 3.5h of racing.
I imagine the lighter Bernal and Alaphillippe would have been needing to hold more than 6w/kg to match the power disadvantage. They were taking turns, and not just tagging on.

Yeah pretty undulating though was my thinking.
Just had a look at my 2020 bests the short durations aren't far off but the long ones are insane.
Long socks will fix that though right?? -

Yeah the normalised numbers, I think, are more impressive.
Guessing Bernal has some pw advantage to help stay in contact, looked good though.
