Is he putting on that voice or is that actually what he sounds like?

What happening in P-N? No break and they are just riding around?

Blythey is slightly out of his comfort zone discussing this concussion. He sounds concussed.

Yeah the normalised numbers, I think, are more impressive.
Guessing Bernal has some pw advantage to help stay in contact, looked good though. -

Less meat to him, so likely quite a bit more aero but:
At 75kg, MVDP was doing 5.84w/kg normalised for the last 1.5h. After 3.5h of racing.
I imagine the lighter Bernal and Alaphillippe would have been needing to hold more than 6w/kg to match the power disadvantage. They were taking turns, and not just tagging on.

Stunned to see the DSM lead out validated. Bol timed it perfectly

Yeah pretty undulating though was my thinking.
Just had a look at my 2020 bests the short durations aren't far off but the long ones are insane.
Long socks will fix that though right?? -

Bennett was travelling so much faster but was just too far back

my thinking.

Long socks will fix that though right??You have a Canyon bike already, so you're almost the same person

Indeed, happy for Bol. Matthews was as well obviously, though taking yellow made that possible too I think.

If Berny wasn’t riding with this stack on his right foot last year then that could’ve caused some problems! From the podium in Siena.

I'm surprised that they didn't pick this up sooner if you need a spacer that big.

I've wondered about that - especially with Sky/Ineos and their marginal gains - nobody, at any bike fitting, or any other time, noticed that his legs are different lengths?

Scoliosis can develop over time. Not sure how much it might have developed within an off season, though. Seeing as he did win a TdF in 2019. Any medics in the house?

I'm not sure that asking the opinion of people who know what they are talking about is really in the spirit of this thread.

True. What do you think then? (Apologies, Will, but it was there for the taking.)
Also normalised power of 438w for the last 1h 30...
I’m impressed that Bernal hung in there until Siena against that kind of power, he must be going really well at the moment, hope his back holds up.
