There are bikes out there that are too big for me. What a time to be alive!
That 38 looks like a SC 32!

Nice! Looks like you got the better weather for it, guessing it’s nice up there when you can see more than 20 feet in front of you.

My absolute smugness for picking up a Scandal for £150 in their pre launch sale. Forks planet X also for £134! Built this for around the £500 mark by filtering CRC website by largest discount late at night... a shared child carrying ‘dad bike’ so not high spec.
Those were the days. Low prices and high availability!
Great bike. Super short stays. Easiest thing ever to pop the front up/wheelie*. Would recommend.

Looks alright out there.
It's still mega bogs in Epping, but they're drying out.

3rd most photographed view in Surrey.
How are you enjoying the trails off that side?

Just starting to find my way around really, I think my favourite trail so far is called Yoghurt Pots.
There are so many trails criss-crossing the Hurtwood that I'm sure I can spend months exploring the area.
I also need to do something about my front brake - it's never got any power when I head out, but gets better whilst I ride, so I forget, then it's got bugger all on the first stop the next day.
Memory like a goldfish.

My Maguras did the exact same thing and no amount of bleeding fixed it. I replaced them with Shimano brakes.

It's the pads I think, the lever is firm there's just no bite. I blame hosing the bike down repeatedly over winter which seemed to make the brakes shit at the same time as it removed the mud.

Could try exposing them to flame or bung them in to the dishwasher for a cycle. If you can be bothered to try to fix them. New pads might be the easiest.

You say that, but I gave up trying to find pads for a set of Trail SL’s last night.

Do uberbike not do any? Really rate their race matrix pads.

Gorilla are decent too, been using their kevlar pads recently

or bung them in to the dishwasher for a cycle.
Does this really work? I'm tempted to try it because I could bung the rotors in also.

Making use of my last week of furlough. It’s much more fun when you don’t come home so covered in mud you have to hose yourself down!

Oh hey. You appear to be in my woods....
KA tower and crest of hill coming up from Rocky Arch if I'm not mistaken.

Now you just need a head tube to match!
