Nah, I'm good with my cheap and cheerful Kallax, does the job and keeps everything reasonably tidy and out of the main living space... I'm really looking forward to going through my 45s, there will be heaps of gems in there that I've forgotten I own... 🤭

I'm at the stage where I just can't squeeze enough hours into the day to keep checking out the stuff I have that I love. There's too much good music available now :)
I get it about the furniture. Considering I build furniture as part of my profession it's a very complicated subject. Mostly I just need more space than I can afford in C. London.

I just couldn't justify tape, no space for it. Such a big itch for it though. For shelves, all I can say is I'm totally happy with Vitsoe :) I know what I'd do. The 1210s fit perfectly on an upturned shelf, put 2side by side and the mixer in the middle. If you've got room for a couple of bays there it would be worth every penny imho.
Thing with Vitsoe is the design team will plan anything for you and show you how it looks. The whole process is easy enough, send them some measurements and a photo.
