move hood higher and rotate bar down a bit and you should get a nice gravel shape.

Aye, set up from the bike store. It’s getting some adjustments later

25mm GP5000s are the perfect dry weather gravel tyre.
Agreed, 25mm is perfect for gravel.

mad that 1400 only gets you cables and 9speed.
Im sure back a few years you'd get tiagra 10 and hyrds for about 1200?

Unsealed hubs, too!
To be fair, that gravel looks smoother than most UK road surfaces.

The gravel in Scotland is pure shite right now. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

No gravel around The Hague but some extremely tame single track that is sleep inducing on anything MTB (it’s an official MTB trail) but good fun on a gravel bike #nomtbtrail

straight to the HHSGB thread imo
I guess this goes here...GCI scheme replacement for the Ron Cooper I had to sell. Didn’t fancy a pure roadie. Or paying the grav tax on a new grab bike, but this seemed good spec for the money, even at Brexit prices. New bars/saddle/seatpost/tyres to fit first though.
