Good to know, i can chop another 50g off the steerer but 600g seems a bit much for that frame. Not sure it'll replace the Capo as my track bike so maybe summer skidder and i'll hang up the Dart.

And as if by magic, the postman just delivered a 25.4 hylix seatpost to my door. No fees to pay.
I must say, the build quality of it seems to be exceptional and it's very light

Cranks aren't parallel to the ground, both valves should also be at the bottom and there's a sticker still present on the rotor that should be removed ahead of operation.
Otherwise all good.

Not my bike, is my photo and I'm firmly against cranks parallel to the ground. Imo they should be in line with the downtube as above.
Also couldn't be arsed with the valves. -

Sorry if this has been asked before but are there any particular road CAAD's to keep an eye out for? I'm looking for a frame to build up but have no idea!

i'm going to let go my caad12 rim brake frameset in 56cm .
painted in matt black, comes with a 25.4mm thomson silver inline seatpost ( possibly a matching 110mm 2-bolts silver stem if you fancy ), and a Wheels mfg bb30a shimano adapter.
anyone interested before classifieds ? -

hello. firstly, apologies for cluttering up the c'dale thread with yet another purple 12.
i'm currently building up yeahdext's ex caad and after a bit of advice on the bb cable area.
does anyone have any top tips when it comes to inserting the bb cable guide and getting the hydro cable through the metal clip?also, if anyone has a spare BR-RS805 flat mount caliper please give me a shout. a post mount caliper with flat adapter does not fit on the rear unfortunately...

Ooof. This looks like it’s going to be good. What is the clearance like on that frame?
No there's no rim brake caliper mount on the disc fork I've got.
I'm planning a couple of builds with hylix forks in the near future. Personally not too concerned with failures. They have a brand name and therefore must be concerned with reputation. Only failures I've seen mentioned were from a few years ago and compared to the thousands they must have sold, they were very few.
